WARREN BALLENTINE CALLS FOR A NATIONAL BLACKOUT DAY.
Truthfighters Iam asking that we come together and pick a day in which we do not spend any money. The days that we are looking at for this blackout are as follows; October, 19,2007, October 26, 2007 and November 2, 2007 you all will pick the date. I heard about the blackout on brother Wali Durham's program today
I support Mr. Ballentine in his efforts. It is about time someone took the initiave and took action. I commend Mr. Ballentine for stepping up to the plate to not only talk about these issues, but to also take steps to do SOMETHING about it. However, I think these are issues of great concern for not only African Americans but ALL America’s citizens, no matter the race, color, religion, or creed. They affect the civil rights of all of us, each American citizen. The November 2, Blackout an excellent opportunity of all the nation’s people to come together and force the government hand. It is a time for citizens to insist governmental policy be changed to make policies that mor positively benefits the people. This democracy is supposed to be greater than others across the globe. This country prides itself in being better than others. It is supposed to be a government for the people and by the people. It's time for our children to experience and see first hand how a democracy is really supposed to work.

Please submit a HTML code for a "Nov 2nd Blackout" banner applicable to Myspace, Facebook, and Blackplanet pages. We really need all the youth to get on board with this.
This will be a great way to get the word out amongst the youth. They are more than eager to participate although some thought about whether or not they want to forfeit the "American Gangster" opening week. I believe as this Blackout gains momentum the movie will not be such a dilemma.
To continue after today set up a legislative agenda for congressional hate crimes and choose a gop contributor to call and boycott every day until congress passes your legislation.

Have you had enough of petitions, rallies, and protests that have not worked? The Republiklan party and their klanservative members appears insulated from the public and unresponsive to the public. However their contributors do not appear insulated from the public and can collapse under pressure to a withering telephone campaign threatening mass boycotts of their products until they get their friends at the GOP to do what we want.

Call GOP contributor and war contractor General Electric Corporation at 203 373 2211 and ask for the public relations department. Tell the person in public relations that you want the GE CEO to get Bush to end the war in Iraq and then Bush resign with Cheney and until that happens you will not buy any GE products and that you will tell your friends about this.
Call GOP contributor Rite Aid at 1-800-325-3737 and tell the person to get the CEO to get the GOP to enact HR 676 Single payer universal health care and repeal Medicare Part D and place the drug benefit in Medicare Part B covering 80% of drugs with no extra premiums, no extra deductibles, no means tests, no coverage gaps, and remove the means test for Medicare Part B and until that happens, you won't buy ANYTHING from Rite Aid.
Call GOP contributor Wendy's restaurants at 614 764-3553 and Tell the person in public relations that you want their CEO to get the GOP to help enact a $10/HR MIN. WAGE into law and until this happens you will not go to a Wendy's Restaurant.
